Is magnetic foreign material (metal) a high risk in your facility? Do you have questions about magnet strength, placement and best practices within the food industry?
Food Safety & Quality Services has partnered with D.L. Newslow & Associates as well as Active Magnetic Research (AMR), to offer on-site magnet verification and testing and will provide your company with a professional magnet validation report to help you evaluate and mitigate metal foreign material risks within your facility. Magnets wear down after constant use and over time. Magnets not fit for purpose are often used and often at insufficient strengths to protect food products from metal contamination. Don’t rely on your old magnet to keep doing the job and end up with a massive recall. Keep your standards high with the best equipment possible. Let us perform a magnet validation for you!
We provide assistance with FDA and USDA regulatory compliance including food safety plan development and guidance, operating permits, labeling, corrective and preventive actions, GMP’s and traceability.
If you have received a non-compliance report from an FDA or USDA food safety assessment, we can assist you with a proper response and plan of action to limit production downtime and regulatory penalties.
