Course DescriptionTwo (2) Day BRCGS Issue 9 Workshop
This two-day workshop will provide a detailed overview of the current requirements for the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety. There will be an added focus on the expanded requirements that were added for Issue 9. Examples of those new requirements include: defining behaviors for food safety and quality culture, clarification for outsourced processing, standards for purchasing refurbished equipment, etc.
Attendees will gain a good understanding of what types of programs and paperwork auditors will be expecting to see during certification audits as well as what to expect from auditors during the site walk-through and employee interviews. Our instructor will discuss the process of selecting the proper certification body and the process of preparing for your first successful audit. With over 20 years of experience in the food industry, you can count on your instructor to answer attendee questions and to provide logical and practical guidance on how to comply with the BRCGS standards.
