FSMA Final Rule for Preventive Controls for Human Food
The FSMA Final Rule for Preventive Controls for Human Food mandates that a manufacturing/processing facility have a risk-based supply chain program for those raw materials and other ingredients for which it has identified a hazard requiring a supply-chain applied control.

Course Description
The food industry, today more than ever, is focused on supply chain transparency. The more you know about your supply chain, the easier it is to properly prevent potential food safety concerns. This workshop will discuss the necessary components to a supply chain management program, including current FSMA requirements, initial supplier assessments and approval programs, review of supplier food safety programs, corrective and preventive actions, change control, raw material inspections, record keeping and training.
