The Global Food Defense Institute specializes in protecting our food supply by providing food defense and crisis management training and education to manufacturing and retail operations. The course content and brilliant exercises get every attendee thinking about their critical vulnerabilities and current mitigation strategies in place and just how effective they really are with keeping the food supply, as well as employees, safe.
The Global Food Defense Institute offers a variety of training classes, ranging from food defense to managing a crisis situation, such as an active shooter. GFDI also offers onsite vulnerability assessments as well as penetration tests to determine a company’s risk to both an inside and outside attacker.

This course is a blend of the new FSPCA Intentional Adulteration-Conducting Vulnerability Assessments training with the GFDI “Street Smart'' food defense course.
Lance Roberie (FSQS) and Rod Wheeler (GFDI) team up to bring you an exciting combo course that not only satisfies the requirements for being a qualified individual for conducting vulnerability assessments under the new food defense rule, but also adds valuable exercises in crisis/incident management, such as handling an active shooter situation, that provide attendees with thought-provoking scenarios that are sure to challenge even the most comprehensive safety programs.
