FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI) Version 2.0! 2.5 Day Course.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN
- The current requirements of FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food and how these requirements have been realigned to meet current HACCP regulations.
- Pre-requisite programs and how they play a supporting role for preventive controls.
- Updated methods for conducting a hazard analysis, using a new tool that guides participants on how to assess both inherent hazards, supplier hazards and your own process hazards.
- How to identify and monitor preventive controls.
- Verification, Validation and Record keeping requirements.
- What activities need to be completed by a “Qualified Individual”.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
This is a live, instructor-led course that is 100% online. Our online training platform is Zoom. Attendees must be comfortable with virtual-style learning and have the following:
- webcam
- high-speed, uninterrupted internet access
- microphone (computer microphone is usually acceptable)
- unique email
- quiet room for training
Course times are 8:00 – 5:00 Tues – Wednesday and 8:00 – noon (Central Time) on Thursday. Participation in course exercises is also required. Attendees will be called upon by the instructor to share exercise answers and to participate in other class discussions.
Hard copies of the participant manual will be available via Amazon and the FSPCA bookstore by December 2024. Digital course books will also be available before the start of the course. Your instructor will alert participants when those resources are available.
