This will be a 1-day course. Training will begin at 8:00 am and typically concludes at around 3:00pm. Exam to follow and will end at approximately 5:00 pm. Attendees are allowed 2 hours to complete the exam. Cost of the course does not include course books or lunch. Books and exam answer sheets can be purchased on the ServSafe website at https://www.servsafe.com/access/SS/Catalog/ProductDetail/ESV7. Attendees will need a paper exam answer sheet and #2 pencil in order to complete the exam. We strongly recommend that attendees study the material ahead of time!
The ServSafe® program provides food safety training, exams and educational materials to foodservice managers. Students can earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP). The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts.
This course will satisfy the food safety training requirements for persons handling food products in the state of Louisiana.
