Course description:

Held at our partner location in Orlando, FL, this two-day course will provide a detailed overview of the current requirements for the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, Issue 8.  The course will discuss each section of the requirements in detail and will also focus on the new requirements that were added for Issue 8 including: food safety and quality culture, confidential reporting systems, cyber-attacks, pen control, root cause analysis, environmental monitoring, process controls and more.

Attendees will gain an in-depth understanding of how to implement the BRC requirements along with a discussion of what auditors will be expecting to see during certification audits.  Other topics include selecting the proper certification body for your company, preparing for your first audit and audit best practices.  Instructors will be able to answer questions from attendees and offer insight and practical examples of how facilities can meet specific BRC requirements in order to excel during audits.
