ServSafe Manager Certification

The ServSafe® program provides food safety training, exams and educational materials to foodservice managers. Students can earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP).
The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn about food handling techniques, food-borne illness prevention, sanitation of equipment and facilities, food receiving best practices, pest control, training and supervision in safe food handling.
This course is a 1-day instructor-lead course with paper exam following. Books are not included. Typical hours are 8 am to 5 pm. Lunch is not provided. Attendees will need to purchase a paper exam answer sheet to be able to complete the test. It is recommended that attendees purchase the ServSafe Manager book with paper exam answer sheet ahead of time to better prepare for the class.
