The key to an effective internal auditing system is to not only identify general compliance to an external or internal standard, but to also verify effectiveness of procedure, program or system that is being audited.\nWHAT YOU WILL LEARN\n\nOur course provides attendees with the knowledge necessary to be an effective internal auditor by utilizing auditing best practices as defined by resources such as the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).   The course instructor will also provide attendees with plenty of “real life” examples of auditing best practices and techniques within the food industry through class discussions and exercises performed throughout the training.\nTraining topics include the following:\n\n\nDefining audit types (product, process, system)\nAuditor qualifications and personal attributes\nPreparing for an audit\nIdentifying audit trails\nPreparing for the closing meeting\nAudit report\nFollow up and corrective actions\n\nThis course satisfies internal auditor training requirements for 3rd party audits such as BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000, AIB, etc.\nBEFORE YOU BOOK\nOur online training platform is Zoom.  Attendees must be comfortable with virtual-style learning and have the following:\n\npicture ID\nwebcam\nhigh-speed, uninterrupted internet access\nmicrophone (computer microphone is usually acceptable)\nunique email\nquiet room for training\n\n
