Attendees who take this FSPCA training will learn the skills necessary to be considered a “preventive controls qualified individual” or PCQI.\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN\nLearn how to develop a FSMA compliant food safety plan by gaining an enhanced understanding of the requirements of FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food and how these requirements apply to your organization. Topics include:\n\nThe current requirements of FSMA Preventive Controls for Human Food and how these requirements help to ensure a safe food supply.\nCurrent requirements for 21 CFR 117 Good Manufacturing Practices.\nPre-requisite programs and how they play a supporting role for preventive controls.\nCriteria used to identify food safety hazards and how to properly risk-assess those hazards.\nHow to identify and monitor preventive controls.\nVerification, Validation and Record keeping requirements.\nWhat activities need to be completed by a “Qualified Individual”.\n\nThrough course content and exercises, attendees will gain the knowledge and skills to create and manage a food safety plan utilizing the new concepts FDA has asked industry to adopt.\n\n\nBEFORE YOU BOOK\nThis is a live, instructor-led course that is 100% online.  Our online training platform is Zoom.  Attendees must be comfortable with virtual-style learning and have the following:\n\nwebcam\nhigh-speed, uninterrupted internet access\nmicrophone (computer microphone is usually acceptable)\nunique email\nquiet room for training\n\nParticipation in course exercises is also required.  Attendees will be called upon by the instructor to share exercise answers and to participate in other class discussions.  This is a hybrid class.  We will have in-person as well as virtual participants.\nHard copies of the participant manual can be ordered via Amazon here.  Digital course books can be downloaded and printed from the following link:  PCQI Participant Manual\n\n
